There seems to be an occasional accident with the Stealth 2 on the market where the carbon face detaches from the body. TaylorMade has anticipated this possibility in advance and has taken measures to prevent the face from peeling off on the supplied products to ensure that accidents will never happen on the Tour. The parts used in this measure also have the effect of increasing the rebound of the face, and in addition to the high rebound face of the supplied product, these parts make the face even more resilient than the product on the market.
This head is hot-melted in TaylorMade's Tour Department. The head is hot-melted by TaylorMade's Tour division, resulting in a softer and more responsive feel than the commercial version.
The head is brand new and unused, wrapped in shrink wrap with a TaylorMade spec sheet attached. The neck has passed the coefficient of rebound test + engraved.
It is fitted with an all-metal sleeve made exclusively for the Tour. The sleeve standard is the same for both commercial and supplied items, so you can remove this sleeve and install a commercial TaylorMade sleeved shaft. Any sleeved shaft for drivers produced after the SLDR will fit. If you are not sure, please contact us.
